The educational program was implemented with a dual education system in accordance with the order of the N1468—A/2 of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia dated 29.10.2018.

The educational program will provide an opportunity to acquire modern, professional knowledge and develop culinary skills, becoming a sought-after specialist in the field of cooking.

Teaching method: full-time

The duration of  the study:

  • Based on secondary education, 1 year duration
  • Based on basic education, 3 years duration

Occupations of a specialist:

  • Cook
  • Chef's assistant

The responsibilities of the specialist's professional activity are:

  • Prepare and submit a requisition for necessary food resources
  • Compile a report on food resources received, used, and remaining
  • Prepare and operate mechanical, electrical, and thermal processing equipment
  • Prepare and store semi-prepared foods according to the established technology
  • Select appropriate semi-prepared ingredients based on the type of dishes
  • Carry out culinary (thermal and mechanical) processing of food
  • Carry out thermal processing of foods
  • Perform an appropriate presentation and design of the finished product
