
By the order of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MESCS ) of RA N 1401-A/2, dated October 19, 2018, starting from the 2018–2019 academic year, an experimental dual education system was introduced in the educational institution for the specialty "Culinary Arts – Cook", based on basic education.
The importance of dual education:
The foundation of the training is the close cooperation between the educational institution and the employer organization, with shared responsibility and commitment to duties:
- The participants involved in the organization of DUAL education and the scope of their responsibilities are clearly defined
- The educational program is primarily aimed at developing professional competencies that meet labor market demands through practical training
- The student carries out his/her studies in two locations: at the educational institution and, predominantly, at the enterprise for practical training
In cooperation with employers, the following are carried out:
- development of curricula, organization of training, summarization of results, and testing
- promoting students' professional employment through a combination of practical and classroom learning
- improvement of the quality of education, which will help reduce the youth unemployment rate
- selection and recruitment of students
- increasing the efficiency of cooperation
