Internal training within the Erasmus+ ‘RENFORCE’ international program – Day 4

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ REnForce international programme, an internal training session was conducted by Vladimir Bagratuni. During the training, the engineering and industrial experience of large-scale solar power plants in Latvia and their applicability in the Armenian context were presented. The simulation model of a 10 kW east–west oriented photovoltaic system was discussed, including hourly, monthly, and annual production analyses (showing approximately a 9.2% variation), as well as the land requirements for large-scale solar installations. The session also addressed district heating system modeling, the calculation of energy demand for a residential district under Gyumri’s climatic conditions, and the application possibilities of a biogas (LNG)-powered generator, presenting practical calculations and applied solutions.

At the end of the training, the results of the four-day seminars were summarized, and the acquired experience and its potential integration into the educational process were discussed. Participants actively shared their opinions regarding the content, organization, and practical relevance of the seminars, highlighting the timeliness and applied focus of the topics. The administrative and teaching staff completed the training evaluation questionnaire to assess the programme’s effectiveness and to identify directions for further improvement.
