On December 9 of this year, at Gyumri State Vocational College No. 4, within the framework of the “Healthy Lifestyle” course, a seminar-training entitled “Negative Consequences of Drug Addiction” was held for first-year students, dedicated to the fight against drug addiction and illicit drug trafficking.
The goal of the seminar was to form a negative attitude towards drug addiction and illicit drug trafficking, to emphasize the importance of maintaining health, to assess the importance of being informed, and to adhere to the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
Second- and third-year students of the “Computer Operation” specialty had conducted research work dedicated to the causes of the deepening of the drug addiction problem and its negative consequences. The works studied the effects of drug addiction on both the individual and societal levels. The students presented their research by showing thematic slides.
The information presented was impressive and influential, the videos included were alarming.
As a result of the analysis, the participants came to the conclusion that it is necessary to pay urgent attention to the problem of drug addiction in order to preserve the health and safety of society. We all need to unite our efforts to rebuild our country, develop communities, our lives, and our identities without drugs, living, loving, and creating.
