THE NEW 2026–2027 ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINS

The new academic year began in a festive atmosphere at Shirak State College of Crafts and Innovative Technologies.

The college director, Knarik Aharonyan, welcomed students, parents, and guests, wishing everyone a productive year filled with professional achievements and valuable knowledge.

An exhibition showcased students’ handmade creations from the following programmes:

  • Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Renewable Energy Power Plants
  • Painting and Sculpture
  • Leather Goods Production Technology
  • Jewellery
  • Culinary Arts

Students from the Culinary Arts programme also prepared refreshments for the attendees.

The “Tree of Expectations” provided students with an opportunity to share their hopes and visions for the future.

In a ceremonial atmosphere, students received their student ID cards, while parents had the opportunity to learn more about the college’s vocational programmes.

The event was accompanied by wonderful performances by the brass band, dance groups, and dhol ensemble of the Yntanik Child and Family Support Centre.

Another highlight of the day was an art flash mob organized by the Yntanik Child and Family Support Centre, which filled the occasion with colour and made the welcome event for the centre’s new students even more memorable.
