First Steps Toward the Profession in a Festive Atmosphere
News
On this September day, Gyumri State Vocational School No. 4 marked a special event that united student creativity, professional skills, heartfelt gratitude from alumni, and the welcoming of first-year students into the educational institution.
The event hosted Le Bouafan Mugiel, a volunteer from the charitable organization “L’Oeuvre d’Orient,” along with representatives of partner organizations and parents.
The event began with an exhibition of handcrafted works by students and members of the “Family” center, showcasing creations made of wood, metal, clay, and leather—handmade jewelry and decorative items. Each piece reflected not only technical skill but also creative vision and dedication. Guests were captivated by the technical ingenuity and inventive spirit of students specializing in “Installation, Repair, and Maintenance of Renewable Energy Power Plants” and “Technical Maintenance and Repair of Radio-Electronic Devices,” who presented various robotic devices, including solar-powered coffee makers and sandwich warmers.
Attendees also enjoyed delicious dishes prepared by students of the “Culinary Arts” program. They not only demonstrated their culinary talents but also warmly served the guests, sharing their passion for the profession.
One of the most touching moments of the event was the speeches by alumni. They expressed their gratitude to the institution for the knowledge, support, and human warmth they received over the years. Alumni shared their successes, spoke about how their professional skills were shaped at the school, and promised to continue honoring its name. They offered heartfelt wishes to the first-year students, emphasizing the idea that “To learn is to build the future of oneself and the homeland.”
The students of the “Family” center greeted the newcomers with artistic performances.
The event concluded with a ceremonial presentation of academic progress booklets and student ID cards, symbolizing the official entry of first-year students into a new phase of life. The cards were handed out by the school administration, accompanied by warm wishes and confidence that this new journey would be filled with achievements.
This event once again proved that the vocational school is not only a center for professional education but also a community where values, skills, and human relationships are nurtured.
