THE 2026–2027 ACADEMIC YEAR: A NEW NAME AND NEW GOALS

A festive atmosphere filled Shirak State College of Crafts and Innovative Technologies as the new academic year began.

Today was a symbolic day, marking the start of the 2026–2027 academic year under a new name, with a renewed identity and new goals.

The college administration and teaching staff warmly welcomed the first-year students as they embarked on a new professional journey.

They introduced the students to the institution’s history, achievements, and future vision, encouraging them to become knowledgeable and goal-oriented professionals, enhance their competitiveness in the labour market, and actively participate in student initiatives.

The college community also proudly celebrated the achievement of Erik Simonyan, a third-year student in the Culinary Arts programme, who won a small bronze medal at the European Youth Weightlifting Championships.

His victory marked a new chapter of pride and glory for both his homeland and the college.
