On December 4, 2024, biology teachers of Gyumri Vocational School No. 4 named after Z. Nahapetyan and K. Markosyan held an informational lesson on the topic "HIV/AIDS - Evil for Humanity" for first-year students, dedicated to the International Day of the Fight against HIV/AIDS. The purpose of the informational lesson was to acquaint students with the causes of the spread of the HIV/AIDS pathogen and the routes of transmission, to form an idea of ​​the prevention and prevention of the disease, and to emphasize the importance of maintaining health.
Referring to the words of Hippocrates, it was noted: "It is easier to prevent a disease than to treat it," and for prevention it is important to be informed.
To give the lesson an educational character, slides corresponding to the topic, cards with the title "Routes of Infection Spread" and diagnostic tests were used.
The participating students actively exchanged their own opinions and analyses. The final opinion of all was that in order to avoid HIV infection, it is necessary in any situation to demonstrate a responsible attitude both to yourself and to others, to value your awareness and to adhere to the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
