On March 29, 2024, a magnificent event imbued with a patriotic spirit took place at Gyumri State Vocational School No. 4, entitled "Stone Fortress, My Armenia...".
This event was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the great Armenian lyric poets, the "lone lion" of Armenian literature, Hovhannes Shiraz, and the "singer of Vorotan," Hamo Sahyan.
The event was enhanced by unique dance-concert performances by students of the "Endanik" Children and Youth Creative Center.
The audience was impressed by the patriotic and charming works of both poets, which resonated with the younger generation.
Appreciating the gems of nuanced lyricism, the participants convinced the audience that love for one's homeland cannot be learned, but is instilled in the heart and blood. The patriotic lyre of two creators was presented, whose appeals are inextricably linked, imbued with the demand for just revenge and reparation; bearers of the great hope of reviving the lost homeland…
