0713.07.01.4 “Electrician-Plumber specialized in the installation, repair, and maintenance of solar energy power systems”.

The educational program was introduced on an experimental basis in accordance with the order N 1423 - A/2 of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia dated 07.08.2024.

The educational program will provide an opportunity to acquire up-to-date vocational knowledge and develop technical skills, becoming a sought-after specialist in the field of solar energy plant installation.

Teaching method: full-time

The duration of  the study:

• based on secondary education, 1 year duration
• based on basic education, 3 years duration

Occupations of a specialist:

• Installation, repair and maintenance of solar power plants
• Installation, repair and maintenance of solar thermal power plant

The professional responsibilities of a specialist are:

• Perform mechanical installation and adjustment of equipment
• Perform electrical installation and adjustment of plants
• Identify equipment malfunctions and eliminate them
• Perform technical maintenance of solar power plant equipment
• Provide consultation to the operator of solar energy equipment
• Monitor the operation of solar electrotechnical equipment and systems
• Ensure the safe and complete transportation of components necessary for the installation of solar power plants
• Use tools and equipment properly and according to their intended purpose
• Follow occupational safety regulations at all stages of work
• Provide necessary information for the preparation of required documentation
• Perform preparatory work for the placement and installation of power plants
• Submit an application for the acquisition of required materials and tools as necessary
• Complete documents related to his/her jurisdiction
