Beginner Cook

On the 22nd  of November, 2016 there was an open lesson in the course “Culinary art - a cook” with the topic “beginner cook” at the Gyumri Craftsman State School N4. The Aim of the lesson was to show the students’ gained knowledge and all the researches done on modern culinary, to develop the ability of cooperation and team work, to create connection with the module of computer operator. The students did research beforehand, drawing parallels between traditional and modern culinary. Emphasizing Armenian cuisine, they made a presentation according to the topic. The latter was accompanied by giving good advice on culinary, describing the ways of preparing ghapama, harisa
etc. In order to check the ability of figuring out quickly the students were asked to give the names, additional parts and the aim of usage of the shown culinary stuff and equipments. In order to use the theoretical knowledge practically the students were divided into groups according to the given tasks. The groups did the task properly, preserving the sanitation and hygiene norms and the preparing technology. The lesson was effective and served to its aim which developed the research abilities and cognitive interests among students.
