On March 4, Shirak Regional Library hosted the students of Gyumri National Vocational School No. 4. The regular meeting was held by the school librarian S. On Hakobyan's initiative.
The matinee dedicated to the International Writers' Day was entitled "The Great Master of Satire". The advice of the day is to draw the attention of reading students to the work of the great Armenian writer-satirist Hakob Paronyan and appreciate the wide-ranging work of writers in the modern literary world.
On the occasion of the professional holiday, the librarian of the Shirak regional library, S. Tumasyan, who emphasized similar meetings in his speech, which contribute to closer library-writer-reader connection, are an impetus to develop the culture of reading books among the young generation.
The students thoroughly presented Paronyan's literary activity, the rich literary heritage he left behind, seasoned with the thoughts and messages of the writer.
A discussion took place, creating a relaxed environment for communicating, expressing their opinions, revaluing Paronyan's weighty, respectable contribution to the development of the satirical genre.
The speaker of the day, the president of the humanitarian method association of the university, K. Grigoryan's detailed speech proved once again the truth that H. Paronyan's works with their artistic values, advanced ideological content, and sayings will always remain in the rich treasury of Armenian classical literature.
