Erasmus+ international project REnForce

The next phase of the Erasmus+ international project REnForce (Renewable Energy Workforce – Strengthening Workforce Potential in the Field of Renewable Energy) has started. Within its framework, representatives of the administrative and teaching staff of the vocational school visited RISEBA University of Applied Sciences in Riga, the capital of the Republic of Latvia, where they participated in professional lectures and discussions.

The training sessions focused on the following topics:

  • Solar energy technologies, their main principles, and application possibilities
     
  • New approaches to work-based learning
     
  • Capacity building of VET staff
     
  • Strengthening VET–labor market cooperation
     
  • The importance of applying soft skills in vocational education
     
  • Quality assurance and control in education
     
  • Improvement of vocational education in the sector through collaboration with local and international partner institutions and industry experts
