VISIT TO GYUMRI TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER

On May 22, first-year students of "Radio electronic Equipment Maintenance and Repair" made a familiarization visit to Gyumri Technology Center (GTM). The visit was aimed at acquainting students with the Gyumri Technology Center, the laboratories operating in the center, up-to-date equipment and tools.
The students were welcomed by Arpine Baghdasaryan, Public Relations Officer of the GTZ, who presented the history of the creation of the GTZ, the powerful electro-technical, mechanical engineering centers in the center, IT and programming. During the tour the students got acquainted with the activities of each organization in the center, working conditions, requirements to the employee, perspectives.
GTM lecturer Vahram Muradyan explained the electrical and mechanical laboratory equipment - the technical characteristics of the equipment, the application areas, the need for radio electronics and robotics.
Irina Safaryan, HRC Coordinator of Educational Programs, informed the students about the educational programs, regular free training courses, the IT industry, the most demanded professions in Armenia and Gyumri.
The tour was quite busy, interesting and up-to-date.
During the discussion it turned out that the students were interested in the information presented by the laboratory capabilities and professional development perspectives.
