THE OPEN LESSON ENTITILED “ SMALL ITALY”

On April 3, 2018, was held an open lesson entitled "Small Italy" among the one-year course students  of "Culinary Art: Cook". 17 students took part in the open lesson.
The aim of   the lesson was to:
• combine the theoretical knowledge acquired by students with their practical skills;
• involve students in teamwork;
• develop students’
 research skills.

At the beginning of the open lesson, they introduce the topic and the goal of the lessin
With the help of presentation, they were presenting the peculiarity of Italian cuisine, food / bread, cheese / dishes of Italian cuisine, basic dishes, sauces, garnish, desserts, their names and ingredients were listed also the  cooking methods of them.
In the practical part of the lesson students prepared Italian spaghetti / Al Dante / Bolognese sauce and grated cheese, detailing the sequence of cooking process. The process of preparing foodstuffs, their mechanical and thermal processing they have done very skillfully.
The ready made dish was formed and served properly in a well-stocked table.
The assigned tasks were performed in accordance with the sanitary and hygienic norms and the technology of cooking.
