Meeting with the representatives of the Green Climate Fund

On February 14, 2012, representatives of the Green Climate Fund met with state and non-state structures in Shirak region at Gyumri Technology Center. Levon Igityan, Head of the Career Guiding Center at Gyumri  Craftsman State School N4 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and Hovhannes Simonyan, the President of Student Council were also present at the meeting.
In the course of the meeting, Meruzhan Galstyan, Head of the Environmental Programs Office of the Ministry of Nature Protection, spoke about the accreditation procedure of the organizations, the preparedness for the project, the private sector financing mechanisms, climate change and adaptation programs. The procedure for applying to the programs was also presented.
The meeting was aimed at identifying opportunities for cooperation.
