Visit To Gyumri Language House

On the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Translators on October 16, students of the I, II, III courses of the Gyumri Craftsman state School N4 visited the Gyumri Language House to familiarize students with translation art, modern interpreters and their activities. 
Lecturer H. Isahakyan was speaking about the translation art, also introduced students to the peculiarities of modern translation literature and introduced to the types of translation literature. He noted that the most important responsibility should be to refer to the translated material, including H. Tumanyan's well-known idea. "Translation is a beautiful rose under the glass", so before any writer's work is translated, he must essentially study the works of that author, his age, and try to remain true to the original. And as a copy of the Bible's translation, which still remains unimaginable.
For a beautiful and competent translation, you need to learn the language from which it is translated. However, the most important thing for an interpreter is the excellent knowledge of the native language, national linguistic intelligence.
After the lecture a lively discussion took place. answering questions to the students, the lecturer urged to learn a foreign language while choosing a profession to be able to withstand the challenges of time.
