Visit to Gyumri blood transfusion station

On October 17th, second-year students of Gyumri Craftsman State School  visited Gyumri blood transfusion station.
 The purpose of the visit was to educate humanity and willpower, deepen students' knowledge of blood groups, blood transfusion and blood-borne diseases, to introduce them to the work process.
Director of the Blood Transfusion Station A. Andriasyan introduced students to the missions and goals of the station, donor blood donation process, and blood storage conditions. He noted that voluntary blood donation is a component of a healthy lifestyle, a humane step and a moral debt to the society.
Students witnessed mathematics lecturer R. Petrosyan as a registered volunteer donor, the process of blood transfusion, separation and storage of blood components.
The specialist doctor decided that the blood group of one of the students step by step demonstrating the entire process.
After the visit, a thorough discussion of impressions was held, highlighting the idea of volunteer principles.
