12/03/2018

On March 7, with the participation of first-year students, an open lesson entitled "Clean Armenia" was held on Geography.
The purpose of the lesson was to create ecological education and to instill responsibility for the environment.

The participants were instructed to study the sanitary state of Gyumri and prepare reports and cover materials.
At the beginning of the lesson, various environmental problems facing mankind were presented. They talked about negative effects of anthropogenic and natural factors on nature, their consequences, and the neutralization of ecological crimes.
The most important was the coverage of the current ecological situation in Armenia, the rational use of natural resources, the pollution of the atmosphere, water and soil, and the reduction of forests and biodiversity as a cause of ecological crisis. The students also presented environmental issues in Shirak region and environmental panorama of Gyumri by means of a submarine platform.
The participants, condemning the anthropogenic factor in the ecological problem, proposed different schemes of living a "single planet" lifestyle.
The lesson ended with a key point of view. "Cleaning is culture, lifestyle, attitude toward the country and its own."
