17/12/2018

On December 13, an open lesson, entitled <20th Century Prohibited Literature, Anna Akhmatova> was held in Gyumri Craftsman State School N4. The first and second year students participated in the open lesson.
The purpose of the lesson was to introduce the literary heritage of Russian poet Anna Akhmatova, her political views, to recognize her as a citizen and as a poet. Enrich students' cognitive skills, generate interest and love poetic words.
The students presented the most interesting episodes of Anna Akhmatova's biography, accompanied by a slide show about her. They read from Akhmatova's works, analysed them, revealing the image of the poet as a human-citizen and patriot. They talked about the concept of "banned literature" which would later be condemned as a shameful, vicious phenomenon. It not only damaged the literature, but also distorted many human destinies.
The course was spiced with songs based on the poet's work. The open lesson was summed up by a poster made by students, through which the students expressed their impressions of Akhmatova's life and works, highlighted their urgency and global significance.
