A sports compitition dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the Armenian Army

On February 22, a sports contest-event dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the Armenian Army was held at Gyumri Gyumri Craftsman State School N4. The teams of the school, N military unit and "Family" center participated in the competition with their symbolic titles.
The aim of the event was to deepen the student-soldier connection, to develop confidence in their own strengths.
The competition was held in table tennis, chess, arm wrestling, and the Olympic principle.
The event started with the RA National Anthem. The presenters got acquainted with the rules of the competition, the referees.
In the hall there was a hot atmosphere of competition. that both soldiers and adolescents were inspired by the desire to win.
Prior to the results of the competition, Taron Ghazaryan, a second-year radio student, performed patriotic songs.
Summing up the results of the tournament, deputy commander of the 55035 military unit, lieutenant colonel Armen Grigoryan mentioned in his speech that such events are important. They promote students' military-patriotic upbringing and encourage military servicemen.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and prizes by Knarik Aharonian, Director of Gyumri No. 4 Handicraft State College.
It was commendable that ordinary soldiers of the Armenian Army occupied the first place in all sports, which served as a vivid example for adolescents.
